An Avi-Air heat exchanger, such as the AVI35, recovers heat from exhausted air to warm up the fresh air entering the building, which reduces heating costs in winter. The GE-HEBUS module connects this exchanger to your GENIUS controller through ModBus communication, bringing it directly into your ventilation system alongside your other fans.
The GE-HEBUS plays the same role as the GE-EC module. It communicates continuously with the GENIUS controller and reports the exchanger’s real performance, including heat recovery efficiency. The difference is that it is built exclusively to work with Avi-Air brand heat exchangers.
Avi-Air exchangers also run automatic washing and defrost cycles to keep the exchanger core clean and prevent ice buildup. With the GE-HEBUS, this information is visible directly on your GENIUS controller, giving you a full view of your ventilation, heating included.
