Control for 4 Piglet Nurseries and Drying Lamp

Monitrol designs intelligent controllers dedicated to the horticulture, dairy, swine and poultry sectors. For an easy remote management of your farm, your data is accessible on FarmQuest. The GE-INFRA4 piglet house heat and dryer controller is essential during the first hours of farrowing.  It supports 4 nurseries equipped with 2 heat lamps each. They allow the pig farmer to efficiently control the thermal comfort of each pen for the assured well-being of the piglets. During farrowing, the operating program of the kennel lamp and the farrowing lamp is activated manually, or automatically, with the use of the birth detection sensor. Regulated with an infrared temperature sensor (IRS-1), the nurserie temperature is programmed to follow a precise comfort curve according to the age of the piglets, while the farrowing lamp is automatically turned off after a predetermined operating time since the day of farrowing.
