The GE-AC module is a GENIUS electronic controller that connects to a fan equipped with a conventional AC motor. Each fan is controlled independently, which automatically adjusts ventilation according to the needs of each zone in the barn. Thanks to two-way communication with the GENIUS controller, performance data for each motor is transmitted in real time, ensuring continuous monitoring and rapid detection of any anomaly, such as a fan that is blocked, stopped or running abnormally.
Each fan equipped with a GE-AC module responds to the actual temperature in its own zone, helping maintain more consistent conditions throughout the barn, even in areas that were difficult to manage before.
The GE-AC module continuously reads the actual electrical parameters of each motor (current, power) and sends this information to the GENIUS controller. A fan that slows down or stops running at full capacity is detected automatically, and an alert is sent before it becomes costly.
Monitrol’s GE-AC module is compatible with most conventional AC motors.
If a fan becomes blocked, freezes or fails to start, the GE-AC module immediately detects the issue. An alert is sent to the GENIUS controller and forwarded to the producer (for example, through FarmQuest on their phone) so they can respond quickly before the problem affects barn ventilation.
